Wellness Considerations

We care deeply about our attendees and want to make sure that you feel comfortable and safe at our events.  It’s why we provide our Code of Conduct, and why we feel the need to go a step further when we can.  The following are options that we’ve been able to provide for this year’s conference.  We do appreciate any feedback that we can get, as we would like to make this better in the future as well.  Please let us know both during the event and afterward on your exit survey any suggestions, thoughts, praise, or negative feedback that you have for us.  We want to hear it and continue to grow.

Wellness Room

We will be providing a wellness room for our attendees.  It will have a screened off area for nursing or privately administering medicine as well as a few cots, in case anyone is feeling ill and needs to lay down for a bit, and the room will be a quiet place if you just need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the conference for a bit.

Wellness Breaks

If you take a look at our schedule, we specifically have half-hour breaks planned during each morning and afternoon.  These are to give you, the attendee, a break from the constant bombardment of new information.  It’s been proven that your mind needs calmer breaks during a day of learning to be able to process the information that you receive.  Moreover, you need some time just to stand up and stretch.  These are great opportunities to continue the conversations you’ve been having, check back in at work or home, or yes, visit the sponsors.  But most important, there is time built into the day where you can do whatever you feel the need to without worrying about missing a session.
